Eating Insects! :[

Yesterday in English, we watched a video where Ted said that we should eat insects. He made some very good points about why insects are really important to us, but I really hate them. It scares me when they say that like six spiders crawl into your mouth every year. That makes me want to sleep with one eye open. Ted said that without insects, we wouldn't be here right now, and that they help us with the economy. We also eat them when we eat tomato soup, or other things. Eating insects is nutritious, I think that's what he said. Anyway he also said that the richer someone is, the more meat that they eat, and the less rich, they eat more insects. I hate insects or bugs or anything with more than four legs. They make me pee my pants. Well, Ted scared me, because if insects take over the world, ill have to go jump off a cliff or something. They also showed how they make stuff with insects, there was this strawberry with chocolate and on top it had a whole bunch of maggots, who the heck wants to eat maggots! They walk in your garbage and eat your poo, that's disgusting. Oh, well ill keep eating what I eat. Merry Christmas!?

World Cup 2022

The U.S. put a bid to bring the FIFA World Cup here in 2022, and in 2 days FIFA will announce who will win. I want to stay home to see, but I know my dad will make me come to school. Someday I want to watch the world cup for real, not on the telly. I know if we do win that it'll be when I'm 27, but i can wait. Last year Spain won it, and that was a boring world cup. This website called gousabid.com is about the 2022 bid, and you can sign up and sign the petition to bring it here, so far they have more than a million. I think my dad went to a world cup game one day, it was in 1994 when the world cup was here in the U.S., but that was one year before I was born, so I was in the belly of my mum. I hope Santa makes world cup come here, Santa makes everything come true. That's what the trophy looks like. I think I heard somewhere that its made of nothing but gold, and people can't hold it for too long or it will melt, I don't know that's what I heard. It would be a dream come true to lift that cup one day, but you cant even touch it, only the president is allowed. Anyway i have to wait to find out if it is coming here, and then I have to wait 12 years. Then I have to start saving up my money!

Thanksgiving

This week is Thanksgiving week, and we only have two days of school, which of course, makes no sense. We should just have the whole week off, why only two days? Were not going to learn anything. The only thing were going to learn is how to eat like a wild animal. I like staying home on winter days, watching Jerry Springer on the couch. Today I didn't feel like coming to school, I told my mom I was too sleepy because i stayed up watching The MLS Final, and she said no. She said I could sleep when I get home. So I had to get up, and come here to learn nothing for two days because the teachers probably don't feel like teaching. Anyway i don't know what I'm doing for thanksgiving this year, I hope we don't have to cook because when you host something, like a party or a dinner or something, everyone comes and acts like animals, then they leave and your left the next morning having to clean up when you should be watching sports. The worst part is nobody cares if they make a mess, like once my uncle came from the movies and threw popcorn all over the place. It was a mess. Other than that, I'm thankful for everything I have, but mostly the food.

Winter: Pros and Cons

Its already November, last time i checked my calendar was...never! I don't have a calendar, there' no point in those, unless you want the date of holidays. When i get to school, someone else tells me the date, so i don't worry about that. Anyway i cant believe in November, i can still remember New Years, OK no i cant but it is almost a new year, time flies when your having fun, but I'm not having that much fun, gosh slow down! With a New Year comes the cold months. I hate cold months, they make me shiver, and the cafeteria is always so cold, and then it snows. Snow is cold, i hate when someone throws snow on your back, or when it gets into your shoes. The only thing that i like is Thanksgiving and Christmas, i don't really care for Christmas. I like hopping into my bed after a long day with the blankets up to my nose. Then waking up in the morning and laying there for like 3 hours, i know I'm weird. Bye.

This One Has No Title

When I first watched this video, i thought it was gonna be about a random kid with some disease that makes
his life hard, but everyone has already heard this story. Then when i saw that he was hungry all the time it sounded weird, scary weird. The rest of the video was really sad, I don't think i saw his mom, and to parents it is really hard to raise a kid with a disease like that, but Max only had his dad. The rest of the time the video was dark and gloomy, and the way that it was only pictures made it even more sad. His dad has to take his mind of food, and he has to do all whole bunch of other things so that his son wont be eating all the time. Anyway when i was in middle school, there was a lot of kids that were special ed. in the front of the school bus, and they used to scare me sometimes. There was this one time that this special ed. kid ran to the back of the bus and started hitting the other girl, after that i never felt safe when i was at the front of the bus. Then there was another little girl and she used to talk to me sometimes, but i could never understand what she was saying. After a while she started giving me hugs when she got off the bus, and the next school year she wasnt there, so i wondered what happened to her. Max didnt really have a disease like that, but he had a problem to, and people like that need more attention than anyone.

What a waste

Yesterday when we watched the video, there was a lot of trash that was actually recyclable. It kind of made me a little worried of what it will be like when were older and if people still wont recycle. In my neighborhood, the dumpsters don't even have a place to recycle, some people won't recycle because they are too lazy. I used to recycle all the time where I used to live. Its sad how the government doesn't take recycling seriously, if they did we wouldn't have all this trash. Some people think that global warming is a myth, they're dumb! Those are the people that are republican, just like Kyle, hes dumb. If global warming was just fake, then there wouldn't be a hole in the ozone layer. How can you just let birds die because of what you did and then not do anything about it?! These people are crazy, the fisherman put some kind of net in the water and filled half of it up with litter, how the heck does trash from the land end up all the way at the bottom of the ocean, that's how you know they don't care. And don't say you wont be alive by that time.

A Haunting Reality

Yesterday when we watched the video of the soldier, I started thinking of what life would be like in war. The soldier looked really dirty and tough in the pictures, but when he got home he looked really sad and weak. It got my really interested in it because in the video games war always looks like fun. If I ever went to war, it would be a really terrifying experience, especially going to a place like Falloujah, in Iraq, because it’s like a desert. I think Blake Miller was a brave man to go into the military and fight for the rest of the U.S. freedom.

I would like to go to the U.S. National Guard, but im unsure if its something i really want to do, or just an idea. I really like the idea of fighting for your country and giving back, but sometimes it changes you in a wierd way. It kind of changes who you are. The benefits are really cool, they give you scholarships and pay for college. That might be a big factor in why im intrested in that, i dont have any other way that ill pay for college.

The video we watched was really inspiring, it was a small glimpse of what war is like when your a soldier. When Blake Miller said that when were young, we are taught to not kill people, that it is a bad thing, but when your in the military, it is your job. Killing people for a living sounds like something hard to do. Even if they are terrorists, i cant imagine pointing a gun at someone ready to shoot and take their lives away. After an experience like that it would be kind of hard to live with myself. I really like the courage Blake Miller had to go into the military.

Challenge Day

Thursday was challenge day. I didn't know what to expect, but what from other people had told me I was kind of awry. Then the bell rang and I had to go to the nest. So I put my name down and went to wait in the hallway. Andrew was there so I wasn't alone, otherwise it would of been kinda scary. We just stood there waiting for them to let us inside, it felt like forever but then they opened those doors. We went inside and we were listening to Katy Perry. So then we did a whole bunch of activities and games. It was fun, and then we danced and did a whole bunch of other things. I cant say what we did because the people said that what happens in that room stays in that room. Anyway, i cried, yea and I don't know why. I felt like they put a spell over me and I cried. the music was like some kind of spell that made me want to cry, so I did. After I cried I was like, why the heck did i just cry? Anyway it was a fun experience and it was a huge eyeopener. I really enjoyed it. I think everyone should go to challenge day.

Random Blog

OK so i have to do this blog because Mr.Mann said we have to have four blogs and i only have two. I don't even know whats its supposed to be about so I'm just going to do it on things going on lately (in the world). So whats up with the weather. How come when i leave the house i cant feel my fingers but when i come home my back is sweating buckets, why! Then like two days ago it was like a tornado, and when i look outside the sun is out and I'm like what the heck is going on? That one dude on the TV said to get pillows and go in a small room or a basement, i have neither and by the time i get pillows the tornado will already blow me away to china or Guam! OK I'm done i hope i get a good grade for this.

Doll Face

In English class we had to watch a video about a girl who was in a box. Kinda creepy if you ask me, but you probably wont. Anyway how I look at it, i think shes a teenager just looking for a place to fit in. Shes like what a lot of teenagers go through. Shes trapped inside something that she doesn't like, and she just wants to get out. The TV is society and its starting to manipulate, or dictate, her life. A whole bunch of thing are running through her mind and so she starts to put eyeballs in her eye sockets. Soon after that she puts makeup on herself. Then the TV gets farther, so she struggles to get closer to it, and then resumes to what she was doing before. Now it gets even farther and she cant get closer to it, the box locks itself up, but she struggles to get closer. She pushes with all her force and then she breaks. The metal thing that was holding her in breaks, and she falls down to the hard floor. She hits the floor and shatters into pieces. I think this represents teenagers with problems like depression, peer pressure, and insecurity. Eventually all those problems pile up and she cant handle them anymore.

First Post!

I have to start all over again, ugh I deleted the wrong blog and now I have to do all of them again, what the heck! OK so this is my first post, i can almost remember all of it.

So this summer was really boring, i stayed home all of the time because I had to baby sit my 12 year old sister, why?, shes twelve she can take care of herself. Anyway I listened to a whole bunch of music, its not just a whole bunch of singing, its art! This was the summer of 2010 so Ive been waiting to watch the world cup. Man this world cup really sucked! Four years for that!? Oh well some of it was OK. So that's about it, oh and go listen to Silversun Pickups, now!
