Cold Fingers and Other Things

Toady's blog is about the weather. Today its March 31, so its supposed to be warm and sunny outside right? No!  Yesterday it was cold as heck, and it snowed like crazy. What is this, next week its going to be spring break, but it is definitely not spring outside. The only thing that makes me happy is the longer days and donuts. Anyway, its going to snow again on Saturday. I hate winter it makes my fingers so cold, i feel like their freezing. I'm Mexican , c'mon my favorite places are warm. I want to go live in California, its so sunny there, and warm, with beaches. So California would be like the perfect place to live. In the summer, I'm going to take a trip down to Mexico, but i kind of don't want to. In the news there's been a whole bunch of things about Mexican drug lords and cartels and stuff, so that makes me scared. I dont want to die! I'm too young, so I'm worried about that. It makes me want to hire 29 body guards. Another thing that i want to discuss is the fish in the library. Why? why is their tank so green, its too green. It looks like a tank with nothing in it. I can see it from here and its lifeless. The fish look sad and dead. That tank is so ugly, c'mon, you can afford wi-fi but you cant get a new tank for the fishes?! that's not fair, ill take those fish with me to Mexico.

Japan -_-

There has been an earthquake in Japan. Im scared. So alot of people died and some nuke things are going off. I havent really been paying attention because the same thing happened to them and everybody forgot about them already. I do feel bad for both countries, and the other day, i was on yahoo and their was a post about how the moon will be closer to the earth than it has been in 18 years, on march 20th. Supposedly a whole bunch of things will happen before that, so im scared. I read the article and it said that tectonic plates or something will be more active by 10% in the Pacific Northwest, :O thats where Japan is. Anyway i hope nothing happens here, nothing ever happens here anyway. Hi Serena!

Whats up With Egypt?

Recently, there has been a whole bunch of things going on in Egypt. All that i know is that there is a revolution and the people are going crazy. I was watching the news one day and there was this egyptian and he said to some reporter that they hate all americans. Just yesterday i saw that this reporter woman got sexually assaulted and abused and beaten. I think those people are just dumb, i mean they already got what they wanted, why the heck did they have to assault her?! Anyway they do have the right to revolt if they dont like their government. I think they said that one president guy had been in office for 30 years, thats too much. So now they got what they wanted and theres no longer a dictator guy. In the countries around them, theyre starting to revolt now too. The news lady said that that was going to happen, and that this can give terrorism an oppurtunity for something, which makes me scared. Anyway they need to calm down and do their stuff peacefully or else their not going to accomplish anything. So next time something like that happens, they should just solve their problems without fighting.

Todays Blog

Today's blog is about something, which i do not know about. So I'm going to write it about yesterday. Yesterday we took a field trip to the South Western Career Academy. I signed up for Culinary Arts, Interactive Media Design, and Cosmetology. So when we left, we had to sit in the auditorium for like an hour or so, then our bus came. So my first stop was culinary arts, and so we went inside the Jazz Street Cafe. It was really small, but it smelled kind of good. So the teacher talked and gave an overview of the program, and after that we went to take a tour of the kitchen and all that. The kitchen was big and it was really hot, but i liked it, and she showed us the classroom and all that. So the program tour and what the teacher said interested me, i want to go there, someday id like to be a chef cooking Mexican food. Cooking is like a hobby to me and its one of my intrests, so im going to try and get in to the Career Academy. The next program was interactive media design. The first thing they showed us, was the camera stuff, it was cool because they had all these special effects and lighting, so that was interesting. Then i went to this room with a whole bunch of computers, and the showed us how to make things into 3D. That was boring. After that, we went to the audio section, and that was cool to, then another boring thing with computers, and we left. So then i had to go to cosmetology, and i ended up being the only guy there, i got split up into a group with Serena and Latesea, so they showed us how to do perms and stuff, and after that, they gave me a free comb! So then the field trip was over and i went home.

Winter Makes me Sad

Were in the middle of winter, so it makes sense that theres like 9 inches of snow on the ground. All this makes me sad. When i walk outside, im scared im going to fall. Like yesterday when there was school, there was so much ice on the floor and I was going to walk through the grass, but it was all frozen. The only place there should be ice is in the fridge, and in antarctica, because penguins like ice. So when i wake up its like 6 in the morning, and its so dark outside, it should never be dark outside, only when theres fireworks should be it be dark. I go home and its only 5, so the simpsons are on and when its over, its dark outside! Come on! Anyway thats what makes me most sad, that it the sun gets up late and it goes to sleep to early. At least were not in Canada, that place sucks in the winter. Then its always cold, but i dont mind, im not a easily-cold getting kinda person. Winter makes me so mad and sad, and then i get really mad when i get sick, i cant breathe or smell and my nose is always cold. The only thing thats cool about snow is that you can make snow angels. Snowmen too. So i checked the news this morning and the people said that we only have 44 days of winter left until spring, im going to count down too.

Music

Today's blog topic is about music. I really like a lot of different music. My favorite genre is rock/indie, but i also like some songs on the radio. Like the Black Eyed Peas, i like them a lot. I don't mind listening to rap, i just think its dumb when someone walks down the hall and everyone can hear their music. I think the way that people dress and think is sometimes influenced by music. Usually, the people that dress in dark clothes and have big baggy pants listen to metal and screamo and stuff. Everyone likes music though and music is different in parts of the world. Like in the U.S. people listen to almost every kind of music. In Europe they listen to a lot of techno. In Africa, well i don't know about them. Music is part of every ones culture and its part of their daily life. I grew up listening to Mexican music, but now i listen to rock and pop and stuff, but i still like Mexican music.  Whenever I'm bored i just turn on the radio and listen to whatevers on, even country even though it sounds kinda funny. Anyway its like music makes the world go round.
